Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a man was critically injured in a stabbing that took place in West Philadelphia on Wednesday morning. The stabbing happened along the 600 block of North 52nd Street at around 9:30 am. The 28-year-old victim was stabbed multiple times and was taken to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition. Police are still searching for the suspect responsible.

Fire crews are investigating a fire that spread through a home in the Greys Ferry section of Philadelphia. The fire broke out at home on the 1500 block of Etting Street just after 5 am. The fire sent two adults as well as three children to the hospital. One of the men jumped off the roof of the house when the fire started, the other man was able to get out of the house. He suffered burns to his arm and face. The three children have since been released from the hospital, but the two men are still in the hospital. Both of them are expected to survive. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

SEPTA officials have announced they are working on a new express bus route along Roosevelt Boulevard. The bus would run on the same path as the Route 14 bus and the bus would only have seven stops between the Frankford Transportation Center and the Neshaminy Mall. SEPTA plans to add more bus stop enclosures along the express bus route. SEPTA officials say that the express route should be up and running sometime in fall of 2017.
