Officer Injured In N. Philly; Small Plane Crash In Montco; Quadruple Shooting In W. Philly

A Philadelphia Police Officer was injured after she was involved in a dirt bike chase in North Philadelphia on Saturday night. Police responded to a call of gunshots on the 2000 block of Judson Street in North Philadelphia. Once the cops got there, several suspects fled the scene on dirt bikes. After a brief chase, one of the suspects was caught at Front and Gurney Street, and another suspect was taken into custody at 3rd Street and Allegheny Avenue. The officer was injured during a brief altercation with one of the suspects. She was treated for minor injuries at Hahnemann Hospital. No officers discharged their weapons during the incident.

The FAA is now investigating after a small plane crashed onto a golf course in Montgomery County on Sunday. The plane crashed on the Butler Valley Golf Port in Barto at around 2:30 pm. The plane had reportedly just taken off from a local airport close to the golf course. Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash. Luckily, none of the passengers aboard the place were injured.

Police are now investigating a quadruple shooting that took place in West Philadelphia on Saturday night. The shooting took place on the unit block of North Conestoga Street at around 9:15 pm. Police responded to report of shots fired in the area. When they arrived on the scene, police found two victims wounded on 56th and Market Streets. One of the victims, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the left foot. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the left thigh. A third victim, a 16-year-old boy, was found on 54th and Ludlow Streets with a gunshot wound to the chest. A fourth victim, another 16-year-old boy, was found on the unit block of 55th Street with a gunshot wound to the back. All four victims were rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center to be treated for their injuries. So far no arrests have been made.
