A multi-car crash in Camden County has left 1 person dead and four others injured. It happened around 6:30 p.m. along White Horse Pike (Rt. 30) near Capitol Avenue in Oaklyn, NJ. Five cars were involved in the accident. Two of the vehicles hit head on. One of the vehicles burst into flames. The injured were taken to Cooper University Hospital. Rt. 30 was shut down in both directions until around 10 p.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a woman fended off an armed attacker outside of her residence in Delaware County. It happened on Tuesday evening around 7 p.m. at the Madison Glen Mills in Chester Heights. The armed man approached the 65-year-old woman as she was about to enter her apartment. The woman fought back and the attacker fled the scene. There were no injuries reported. There have been several similar incidents in the last month in nearby New Castle County, DE. PA State Police have been in contact with authorities in Delaware, but cannot yet say if this is connected. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at 454-840-1000.
