The Snow Emergency in Philadelphia has now been lifted after the nor'easter that hit the city and surrounding suburbs. The lifting of the Snow Emergency means that parking is now allowed again on emergency routes throughout the city. All trash services that were cancelled on Tuesday will resume on Wednesday, people who had trash day on Tuesday are asked to hold their trash until next week. City officials remind all residents are asked to clear a 36-inch path on their sidewalks or they could be fined $50. Officials still remind residents that the city is still in a code blue, and if residents see anyone living on the streets to contact the Outreach Coordination Center (215-232-1984).

Pennsylvania State Police, The PA National Guard, and PennDOT all coordinated together to help transport a 2-year-old child to the hospital during the nor'easter. The child, who was located at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in East Stroudsburg, needed to be transported to the Geisinger Children's Hospital in Danville. PennDOT Snow plows led the way on the transport to help clear out snow and make a path, the National Guard helped move the transport smoothly, and State Police helped ensure the safety of the child. The child made it safe and sound to the hospital.

New Jersey Police are now investigating a deadly shooting that involved a police officer. The shooting happened at around 12:30 pm on Tuesday at the Silver Ridge Apartments located on the 100 block of Edgewood Court. Officers responded to a report of someone in need of a mental health intervention, when police arrived on the scene, an altercation broke out that led to an officer opening fire on the 56-year-old man. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are now continuing their investigation into the shooting.
