Pepsi announced that it is pulling an ad that has been widely criticized for its portrayal of social justice protests. "Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding," the company said Wednesday in a news release. "Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologize." The commercial shows model Kendall Jenner walk off a photo shoot to join a march. At the end, she hands a police officer a Pepsi and everyone cheers. The ad received widespread backlash on social media. The most common sarcastic response being something like, "If we only knew a Pepsi would solve all our problems." See video of commercial ad below.

The Philadelphia Phillies and Uber have announced a deal for fans for this Friday's Home Opener. uberPOOL rides to or from Citizens Bank Park that begin or end in Philadelphia County will only cost $2.15. The deal will be available this Friday, April 7th from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Phillies take on the Washington NAtionals at 3:05 p.m to start the season. The Phils and uber have partnered for the whole season and fans can expect more deals throughout the summer.

Charges have been withdrawn against a Collegeville man accused of recording in a locker room at a high swim meet. John Lyons Jr. was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police and charged with invasion of privacy on February 18th at Perkiomen Valley High School. The school was hosting an invitational swim meet and area girl's teams were using the boy's lockers as well. Attorney Greg Giffords says that Lyons never entered the locker room and was just trying to record audio of what he thought were his daughter's team's pre-meet chants. "The video recording which is just cinderblock, the audio is them singing," said Giffords. Lyons showed the video to other parents that day who corroborate his story. He was suspended from his job as a sales-manager because of the charges.
