Shooting In Wilmington; Uber And Phillies Team Up; Teen Charged With String Of Robberies

Delaware Police are now investigating after two victims were shot and wounded in Wilmington. The shooting took place on the 2900 block of Bowers Street at around 7:30 pm. Police responded to a call of shots fired at the location. When they arrived on the scene they found two males lying on the street with gun shot wounds. One of the victims was taken away by medics while the other one was taken by helicopter to Christiana Hospital. Police are still searching for the suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting.

The Philadelphia Phillies and Uber have teamed up to help give Phillies fans an easier way to get to the home opener on Friday. Uber has decided to have a flat rate of $2.15 on uberPOOL rides to get to and from the game on April 7th from 1 pm to 8 pm. The rides must begin or end in Philadelphia County. Uber and the Phillies have also teamed up to promote each other through first pitch appearances as well as signs hung up in the park. The Phillies have their home opener against the Nationals at 3:15 pm.

Philadelphia Police have now arrested and charged a teenager who is responsible for a string of shootings and robberies as well as for the murder of another teen. 17-year-old Ma-king Stewart has been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Tycheen Chandler on March 26th. Stewart also went on a spree of 8 robberies that took place between March 17th and March 30th, one of them left the victim injured. Stewart has been charged with 8 counts of Aggravated Assault, 7 Counts of Possessing an Instrument of Crime, 6 counts of Robbery and many other related charges. Detectives are now investigating Stewarts involvement with several other incidents in the are.
