The Philadelphia 76ers and the Mural Arts program unveiled a brand new mural in South Philadelphia today. The work is located at the corner of Broad and Federal Streets. Past players like like Dr. J, Hal Greer, Bobby Jones, Charles Barkley, and Allen Iverson are depicted on the mural. There is also room to add future stars and legends to the wall. The Mural Arts Program has now completed 4,001 projects across the city.

A suspect in a domestic assault has died after Reading police used a stun gun during a struggle to arrest him. The Berk's County District Attorney's office identified the man as 25-year-old Kenneth Johnston. It happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday on the 700 block of Pear Street. Officers responded to the scene after a 31-year-old woman called 911 and reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her. Johnston was found in a nearby alley. When officers tried to place him under arrest he resisted and a struggle ensued. One of the officers used his department-issued stun gun on Johnston who then fell to the ground and became unresponsive. Police performed CPR. The suspect was pronounced dead at the hospital. The medical examiner will perform an autopsy. The DA's office is also investigating.

Firefighters fought a two-alarm blaze in Montgomery County this evening. It started around 5 p.m. on the 900 block of Clemmers Mill Road in Schwenksville. Smoke and flames shot into the sky from the roof of the two-story home. No one was injured but the house was completely destroyed. Watch video of the fire below.
