Philadelphia Police are investigating after a woman was found dead in her apartment in North Philadelphia on Monday. The woman was found in an apartment on the 1400 block of Greeby Street at around 3:15 pm. When police arrived on the scene they found the 53-year-old woman inside of the apartment with facial injuries. Once the medical examiner arrived he stated that she may have been dead for several days. Police say that there is no sign of forced entry to the apartment, and they are continuing their investigation.

Chester Police in Delaware County have stated that the police department could possibly be facing some layoffs. City officials are now holding meetings that will discuss contract negotiations as well as the city's financial problems and possible layoffs. Residents as well as officials are very weary about the possibility of layoffs to the police force due to the rampant crime that has been running through the city. City officials have now asked Police officers in Delaware County to attend one of the two meetings that will be taking place at City Hall over the next two days.

Pennsylvania Police were called out to a Delaware County elementary school after a 9-year-old boy is accused of bringing a BB gun into the school on Monday that resembled a real gun. The incident took place at the Delcfroft Elementary School on 799 School Lane. It is reported that the boy showed the gun to a fellow student, who then reported that the boy had a gun to school officials. School officials then contacted the police who later showed up to alleviate the situation. The boy will not be brought up on any charges, but it is unclear what actions the school district is planning to take. Luckily no one was hurt in the incident.
