A teacher was struck and injured during a fight caught on video in Cheltenham High School this morning. The fight began between two students at 7:30 a.m. Two more students then joined the fight. That's when staff members stepped in. The teacher fell and was injured while trying to hold back a student. All four students were girls. First period was extended while school officials and police dealt with the situation. The students were removed from the school and are being questioned. No word on any charges. Additional adults were brought into the building to monitor hallways and external areas. Watch Video of the fight below.

Police are investigating after a man was shot inside his home in Delaware County. It happened at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Summit Street in Linwood. The victim, a man in his 20's, was sleeping on a mattress in the living room when the shooter walked into the house and opened fire. The man was shot in the face. He was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition. Police are working on determining a motive and a description of the shooter.

A Northeast Philadelphia former special education teacher blames her heroin use for her actions. 33-year-old Stephanie Amato had pled guilty to having sex with a 14-year-old student. She taught eighth grade special education at Ethan Allen Elementary School. Amato was sentenced on Tuesday to 11 ½ to 23 months in county prison on charges of sexual relationship with a student, child endangerment and corruption of minors. She'll also have to register as a sex offender. Amato apologized to the student and said it wouldn't have happened without the drug use. She will surrender in July.
