Philadelphia Police are currently investigating after two men went on spree of robberies near Temple in North Philadelphia. The two men robbed the students in the three separate robberies at gunpoint near Temple's campus. The robberies all took place between the late hours of Sunday and the early morning hours of Monday. The three students who were robbed were all walking home alone to their perspective apartments. Two of the students were robbed of their backpacks, which contained a computer as well as their cell phone and some cash. One of those students ended up getting pistol whipped by one of the robbers. The third student who was targeted, was actually able to get away from the robbers without losing anything. Police are now searching through surveillance footage to identify the suspects.

A mural in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia was vandalized over the weekend, and the act of vandalism was all caught on video. The graffiti covers up the koi fish and water scene that was shown in the mural known as Bell's Pond. The graffiti was found by a resident on early Saturday morning as he arrived to work. The surveillance footage shows a red sedan pull up at around 5:30 am on Saturday. Then 5-6 men jump out of the car and begin the spray paint the mural. For an unrelated reason, Police pulled over at the scene and the vandals all scattered. Once the police left, the vandals returned and finished spray painting. The Mural Arts team is now assessing the damage and deciding what repairs need to be made.

Police have now ruled the fire that broke out at Barnaby's in Havertown over the weekend an accident. The iconic restaurant/pub caught fire at around 5:30 am on Sunday on the 1900 block of Old West Chester Pike. It didn't take fire crews too long to get the fire under control, but not soon enough, as the fire damaged the majority of the restaurant. Luckily no one was inside of the restaurant during the fire. Crews say a burning cigarette may have caused the fire. The owners have stated they are hopeful for a re-opening by the 4th of July Weekend.
