A plane made an emergency landing Tuesday night in Ocean County, New Jersey. The incident took place at around 9 pm on Tuesday. The plane had to make an emergency landing on the 100 block of Laurel Hill Lane in Eagleswood Township. Officials say that the Eagles Nest Airport is not to far from where the plane crashed. They believe the pilot might have been planning to head to the airport, but it is still not clear. Officials have reported that the pilot involved in the crash was not injured.

Philadelphia Police are now investigating another vandalism case that took place at a Jewish cemetery in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. The incident happened on the 1800 block of Bridge Street. Police have stated that the vandals tipped over 5 graves and tried to push over 2 more. The groundskeeper of the cemetery found the overturned graves on Tuesday at around 1 pm. Unfortunately, police do not know when the vandalism took place. Police are also investigating into whether this is connected to the overturned tombstones at Mt. Carmel Cemetery which took place in February.

Larry Krasner, a civil rights lawyer in Philadelphia has now won the Democratic nomination for the District Attorney of Philadelphia. Krasner was able to get the nomination even after going up against several veteran prosecutors and one former city manager. Krasner has defended numerous Black Lives Matter and Occupy Philadelphia protestors over the past couple of years. Krasner states that he is against the death penalty, and that none of his clients over the past 25 years have been sent to death row. Krasner will now be campaigning against Republican DA nominee Beth Grossman this fall.

In the other contested Democratic race in Philadelphia, City Controller Alan Butkovitz was upset in his bid for reelection by Rebecca Rhynhart. Butkowitz has held the position for 12 years. Rhynhart positioned herself a new blood to take over the city's fiscal watchdog job. She, however, has worked as an aide under Mayor Kenney and previously under Mayor Nutter for all 8 years of his term. She'll oppose Republican Michael Tomlinson in November.
