The Republican and Democratic nominees for Governor of New Jersey were voted on in Tuesday's primary elections. Former Obama Administration ambassador to Germany, Phil Murphy, was voted in as the Democratic nominee. Lt. Governor of New Jersey and member of Chris Christie's team, Kim Guagadno, was voted in as the Republican nominee for governor. It is suspected that many Democrats will be voting in this year's election, to try and end the Trump-agenda in NJ's house. The general election will take place on November 7th of this year.

Delaware Police are now investigating after a 6-year-old boy and his mother were shot on Tuesday in Wilmington. The shooting took place on the 700 block of E. 6th Street at around 2:30 pm. Police say that the mother and her child were inside of their SUV traveling eastbound on E. 6th Street when a gunman opened fire on the vehicle. The 6-year-old boy was shot in the head and taken to A.I DuPont Hospital in critical condition. His mother also suffered a graze wound and was taken to the hospital but is in stable condition. Police are now investigating into the shooting to find the suspect or suspects responsible.

Philadelphia Police have now identified and arrested four boys who were wanted for the assault of a mentally challenged man. The incident took place on Memorial Day. Police say that the four teens began to beat up the mentally challenged man at Chelten Avenue and Knox Street in Germantown. The video shows one of the teens punching him directly in the face, and when the victim tries to escape, another teen chases him and to punch him again. The suspects were released into the custody of their parents, and each suspect is facing serious charges including aggravated assault.
