Embattled District Attorney Seth Williams faced a federal judge on Wednesday just days before Williams is set to go on trial. Williams sat with his lawyer as the prosecution and defense hashed out some last minute details with Judge Paul Diamond. The details included the witness lists, questions for jury selection and the judge's opening remarks to the jury. A total of 12 jurors and 4 alternatives will be chosen from a group of candidates. Williams has been charged with 29 bribery, fraud, and corruption charges. The trial is said to last up to a month.

Philadelphia Police are now searching for a suspect, wanted for a shooting that left one man injured in West Philadelphia. The shooting took place on the 5700 block of Chestnut Street at around 6:55 pm on Wednesday. Police have stated that the suspect shot a 54-year-old man twice in the torso. The man was then taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Police are still investigating a possible motive for the shooting.

The Philadelphia City Council will meet before it's regular session on Thursday to take action on a bill that would help renovate parts of the city. The Kenney Administration is planning on spending over a billion dollars to help fix around 200 parks, rec centers and libraries throughout the city. The goal has been denied twice by the council, but officials have stated that they have added amendments to the proposal that help keep it inline with the council's goals. Kenney administration officials are hoping the bill will pass soon, so that work can start immediately. It is said that the Philly Beverage Tax will be help finance all the work.
