Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams has taken a plea deal in his corruption, bribery and fraud case and resigned as the city's top prosecutor. This come two weeks into his federal trial. Williams pled guilty one count of accepting a bribe from a local businessman. The other 28 counts of the indictment were dropped. U.S. District Judge Paul Diamond ordered Williams held in jail until his October 24th sentencing date saying he doesn't trust him to show up. He could receive up to 5 years in prison.

A recent graduate of West Chester Rustin High School was killed in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Chester County and police are investigating whether it was the result of road rage. It happened around 5:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the Rt. 100 bypass near Rt. 202 in West Goshen Township. Bianca Nikol Roberson was driving a green Chevy Malibu when it left the roadway and crashed into a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe that road rage may have been the cause and that a red pickup truck was involved. That truck fled the scene. Anyone with information is urged to call the West Goshen Police Department Traffic Safety Division at 610-696-7400 or email at trafficsafety@westgoshen.org.

UPDATE: Police say that Roberson was shot in the head prior to her crashing her car. They are now investigating this as a murder case.

UPDATE: SEE ALSO: $5,000 reward now being offered, and suspect sketch released

The body that washed ashore in North Wildwood last weekend has been identified. 24-year-old Ismail Ahmed Abdelmonem Ismail was an Egyptian man who had recently arrived in the United States. He came to work on the boardwalk. His body was found on the beach between 24th and 25th street on Sunday. Authorities were able to identify him by fingerprint analysis. Initially, officials released a photo of maroon shorts in hopes someone would recognize him. The Southern Regional Medical Examiner ruled his death an accidental drowning.
