Philadelphia Police are investigating after a casket containing human infant organs was discovered on a sidewalk in North Philadelphia. The child-size casket was found by passers-by on the 3100 block of West Clearfield Street around 9 p.m. Officers opened the casket to find a bag of organs but no body. "The coffin appeared to be a fresh coffin," said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small. "It was possibly taken from a funeral home or possibly dug from the ground from a fresh grave." Police searched nearby Mt. Vernon and Laurel Hill cemeteries but did not find evidence of any freshly disturbed graves. They are contacting area funeral homes as well. The medical examiner did confirm that they were human organs.

Rescue crews pulled a man's body out of the Delaware River after he went missing while swimming on the 4th of July afternoon. The 27-year-old man from Philadelphia was swimming with family at Aquetong and River Roads in Washington Crossing Park, Solebury Township. Around 1:15 p.m. he went under the water and didn't resurface. Marine units and divers responded to the area of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties. Crews found him an hour and a half later. His name has not been released.

UPDATE: 27-year-old Marvin Lemus Nolasco has been identified as the man pulled from the river.
