Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after a woman was found stabbed to death in her home in Montgomery County early Thursday morning. Troopers were called to the home on the 400 block of Abbey Lane in Perkiomen Township at 3:18 a.m. They found 54-year-old Annette House on the second floor with a knife in her chest. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman's daughter, 21-year-old Elena C. House-Hay, made the call to authorities. The mother and daughter lived together. Investigators were on the scene for hours combing through the home. By Friday afternoon, Dr. Khalil Wardak of the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office ruled that House died from multiple stab wounds and ruled the death a homicide. Authorities have arrested and charged Elena with murder of the first degree, murder of the third degree, voluntary manslaughter and possessing instruments of crime. A preliminary hearing is set for July 31st.

Newtown Township police are searching for a suspect wanted for using babies in car seats to steal $1,000's in sunglasses. It was all caught on surveillance video. He spent approximately 30 minutes inside the store. The man would try on a pair of sunglasses and then conceal them inside the car seats or even his pocket. After he left, clerks noticed that several pairs of expensive glasses were missing. Anyone with any information is asked to call police at (215) 579-1000
