The former mayor of Reading pled not guilty in court on Tuesday after he was charged with federal corruption charges. Former Mayor Vaughn Spencer appeared in court on Tuesday after he has been accused of selling power in his office for campaign contributions. Prosecutors say that Spencer told business and individuals that city contracts would be withheld if they didn't provide campaign contributions. He is also accused of bribing the city council President to repeal an anti-corruption statute. Spencer remains free until his trial.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday evening on the Camden Waterfront for Chester Bennington, the late singer of Linkin Park. 41-year-old Bennington was found dead in his Los Angeles home around 2-weeks ago, and his death has impacted many, including fans of the band. Linkin Park was scheduled to play the BB&T Pavilion on the Waterfront on Tuesday night, but since the death of Bennington, the band has canceled all remaining tour dates. Many fans, came to the waterfront and wrote messages on boards containing pictures of Bennington. Another tribute to Bennington is being held on Monday August 7th at the Voltage Lounge in North Philadelphia. The tribute will be free and open to the public.

Pennsylvania Police are now searching for a man who has been stealing baby formula from Target Stores. Police say that the suspect first stole formula from the Target in Bensalem on Sunday. He then struck again on Monday at the Target in Oaks. The man got away with 12 cans of similac, costing around $200 at the Bensalem store. He stole $111 worth of Similac from the Target in Oaks. The suspect got into a scuffle with the Target security guard before getting away. Although some people may think he is stealing to help his child, Police believe the man may be stealing the similac to cut cocaine and other drugs with. Surveillance pictures of the man have been released, he was seen wearing a Dallas Cowboy's hat and was also seen driving away in a red Ford Ranger pickup truck. Anyone who may have any information about the suspect is asked to contact Bensalem Police.
