The owner of a South Philadelphia day care facility accused of sexually assaulting two children has been released after posting bail. 53-year-old Duncan Round of Medford Lakes, NJ, posted 10% of $200,000 bail Thursday morning. He is a British citizen and had to surrender his passport. Round owns Sprouts Preschool on the 600 block of South 9th Street. A third party notified police on July 25th about the alleged abuse of a boy and a girl, both 5-years-old. The children were interviewed and physical evidence was recovered at the school. Round was arrested and charged yesterday with multiple counts of rape, sexual assault and related offenses. He has owned the daycare for 10 years. If you have any information or may know of other victims contact Philadelphia Police.

UPDATE: The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services has now shut down Sprouts Preschool in South Philadelphia.

Bensalem police have identified the man wanted in connection with a series of thefts of baby formula at several area Target stores. Authorities say that tips from the public helped them identify the man shown in surveillance footage wearing a Dallas Cowboys hat as 25-year-old Anthony Latronica of Quakertown. On Sunday, he stole 12 cans of Similac worth $200 from the Target store in Bensalem, Bucks County. On Monday, he stole $111 worth of product from the store in Oaks, Montgomery County. Police believe he may be using the powered formula to cut drugs. Latronica is described as a white male, 5'6, 185 pounds, with blue eyes, and red hair. (see photo below). If you have any information call police.

A reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman at gunpoint while she was running at Norristown Farm Park on Tuesday morning. The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office and the Citizens Crime Commission of the Delaware Valley are offering a $10,000 reward. The attack happened around 10:50 a.m. on August 1st. The woman was running alone when she was assaulted. The suspect is described as a black man wearing a black mask, or a dark-hooded sweatshirt, and armed with a handgun. DAnyone who may have witnessed this suspect entering or exiting the park should call East Norriton Police at 610-272-0748, West Norriton Police at 610-630-1701 or Montgomery County Detectives at 610-278-3368.
