A man died after a fiery crash into a pool supply store near Quakertown, Bucks County overnight Friday. It happened around 2 a.m. when the driver lost control of his vehicle driving on 309 South and crashed into the Pool Pro store on the 1600 block of North West End Boulevard (309) in Springfield Township. The burning chemicals inside the pool store created dangerous conditions for firefighters and nearby residents. Pennsylvania State Police and the Bucks County Fire Marshal;s office are investigating what led up to the accident and the cause of the fire. Residents of apartments on the property are being taken care of by the American Red Cross. The driver has not been identified pending notification of family.

There is now a $10,000 reward being offered by authorities after there was a 6th arson fire in a Center City high rise apartment building overnight. The Sterling is located on the north side of JFK Boulevard between 18th and 19th Streets. It is 30 stories high. Last night's fire started around midnight on the fifth floor of the building. All of the fires have happened in the last month, usually on the 5-7th floors near trash rooms. No one has been injured in the small fires but apartments have been damaged when sprinklers are set off. The reward is being offered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms and Tobacco and the building's management company. The ATF tipline is (800)ATF-Fire

Multiple cars were stolen from the Avis car rental at Philadelphia International Airport early this morning by an armed group of men. It happened around 4 a.m. Friday morning. It started when one of the men, who brandished a handgun in his waistband, punched the security guard in the face. Police say that four men stole at least four cars. The man with the gun is described as black man, light brown complexion, 5' 8", wearing a blue hoodie. The other three suspects are black males, 19 - 21 years of age. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
