A Burlington County woman has been arrested and charged with shooting and killing her partner in their Mount Holly home on Sunday. 28-year-old Laura Bluestein is charged with the murder of 29-year-old Felicia Dormans. The Burlington County Prosecutors Office says the two were married. It happened on the 100 block of Mill Street. Officers were called to a report of an assault. They found Dormans shot in the face. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Bluestein was taken into custody and charged with first-degree murder. Police are still investigating a motive.

Recent sightings of coyotes on Sea Isle City beaches are nothing more than a fox, according to local animal control. Foxes do in habit the Jersey shore towns. Authorities have set up traps and hope to capture the animal so it can be treated for mange. If you spot the fox call Sea Isle City Police Department’s Dispatch Office at (609) 263-4311.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie signed 50 new bills into law today. One bill makes "Garden State" the official slogan of the state. Although it has appeared on license plates since 1954 it wasn't official until now. Another bill allows municipalities to decriminalize smoking in public places and issue civil citations instead. Also, the expiration date for driver's license renewal will change to a person's birthdate every 4 years instead of the last date of the month. See the full list of bills below.
