Philadelphia Police are asking the public's help in finding two people wanted in connection with a pepper spray attack in South Philadelphia last month. It happened on July 24th around 12:30 a.m. on the 1300 block of Passyunk Avenue in South Philadelphia. The two suspects, a white woman and a black man, got into an argument over parking with another person. Later on, while the victim was sitting on a step, the female suspect sprayed them in the face with pepper spray. The two suspects fled in a black Hyundai SUV with Maryland registration. They were captured on surveillance video (see video below). If you have any information call police.

Philadelphia Police have tracked down and arrested a home invasion suspect after an all night search. It started around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of West Mount Airy Avenue. The suspect entered the home of a 39-year-old woman and her two girls. He came in through an unlocked door and was armed with a gun. He made off with credit cards, cash, an iPhone, a laptop computer and a Kia Sorrento. Around 3 a.m., police spotted the Kia and the suspect trying to withdraw money from an ATM at 76th and City Avenue. They gave chase until he crashed on the 5700 block of Overbrook Avenue. The man fled on foot. Authorities were eventually able to find him. Charges are pending. No one was injured in the home invasion.

The all-clear has been given after a Delaware County hospital was evacuated this morning for a possible gas leak. Riddle Memorial Hospital on West Baltimore Pike in Media was partially evacuated around 9:30 a.m. due to the odor of natural gas. All patients and staff "were immediately evacuated from the affected areas" while the local fire department and PECO investigated. After checking the hospital, officials confirmed that there was no gas leak and everyone was permitted to return.
