John Bolaris and Fox 29 to 'part ways'

It seems as if Fox 29 has had enough of John Bolaris and his antics. Reports from philly.com are that a Fox spokeswoman confirmed, "We mutually agreed that it was time to part ways."

Bolaris has been suspended indefinitely since December 22nd. That came as a direct result from his interview in the December issue of Playboy magazine discussing the March 2010 incident he had involving two young European women on Spring Break in Miami. During that incident he was scammed, drugged, and robbed after going back to their hotel room. In the Playboy article he justified his actions that led him into the situation saying, "I'm a guy. There was the thought I might get laid". He also showed nude photos of women on his cell phone to the writer, reinforcing his ladies man image.

This story originally broke last year, with some speculation that it was Bolaris himself that leaked the information.

This latest behavior involving the Playboy article was just the culmination of a few months of actions that upset Fox 29 management and now ends with Bolaris leaving altogther.
