Heroin/Fentanyl Found In Oxford Circle; SEPTA Officers Save Woman Twice; Deadly Chester Drive By

Philadelphia Police have now seized a large amount of heroin and fentanyl in an Oxford Circle home on Monday. Police say that nearly $370,000 worth of drugs were found inside of the home located on the 1000 block of Rosalie Street. The drug bust comes after a long joint investigation with the DEA. Police were able to arrest 20-year-old Frank Rondon, who faces many charges including possession with intent to deliver and endangering the welfare of a child. If found guilty Rondon could face nearly 20 years in prison.

Two SEPTA police officers are now being credited with saving the life of a pregnant woman twice on Monday. The officers, Kevin Dougherty and Shakeena Watkins, were on duty in Kensington near the Allegheny Station at around 4 pm when they noticed a pregnant woman who was unconscious and possibly overdosed. The two officers administered Narcan to the woman twice before she finally regained consciousness. The Fire Department responded to the scene but the woman refused services and treatment and didn't want to go to the hospital. Then 45 minutes later the officers spotted the same woman lying unconscious on the sidewalk again, but luckily this time, paramedics picked her up and took her to a local hospital.

Delaware County police are now investigating a drive-by shooting that left one teen dead and two others injured. The shooting took place in Chester on Monday at around 3 pm on the 1300 block of West 7th Street. Police say that a 16-year-old was killed, another 16-year-old was shot in the thigh, and an 18-year-old was shot in the rear. All three teens were taken to a nearby hospital where one of the teens passed away from his injuries. Police say that this is the 23rd death to take place in Chester this year. Police are now asking for the public's assistance in locating the suspect or suspects responsible.
