Bensalem Arson Video: Philly Horse Carriage Company Violations; Quadruple Shooting In Germantown

Bensalem Police are searching for an arsonist who is responsible for setting fire to a car, which was captured on video. The arson took place on the 2200 block of State Road last Wednesday. The video of the incident shows the suspect walking up to the car and pouring gasoline all over the rooftop. The suspect is then seen lighting a flare, completely engulfing the car in fire. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Bensalem Police.

The Philadelphia Carriage Horse Company is now being accused of many violations. The company received a "Final Notice and Intent to Cease Operations" but filed an appeal this week against the notice. Officials visited the stables where the horses are kept and fed and they say that the conditions were not suitable and up to regulation standards. They say that the stables have poor ventilation for the horses and that there is not enough room for the horses to turn around or lie down in. Officials also pointed out that three of the nine horses are below the minimum body condition. A hearing is set for the company on October 24th, but until then they are allowed to operate in the city.

Philadelphia Police are investigating into a deadly shooting that left one person dead and three others injured. The shooting took place at around 8:40 pm on the 1000 block of Pastorius Street in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Police arrived on the scene to find 4 victims with gunshot wounds, one of them a 16-year-old boy. The boy was rushed to Einstein Medical Center with gunshot wounds to the side and back. He was later pronounced dead from his injuries. A second victim, an 11-year-old girl was injured by a graze wound to the arm, an 18-year-old man was shot in the torso and a 19-year-old man was shot multiple times in the leg and once in the stomach. Police are still searching for the suspect responsible for the shooting.
