Police say that a gunman suspected in a shooting in an office park in Maryland earlier this morning that killed 3 people and injured 2 others is also tied to another shooting in Wilmington, DE today. 37-year-old Radee Labeeb Prince of Wilmington is wanted in both shootings and is still on the loose. At about 9 a.m., Prince opened fire at Advanced Granite Solutions in the Emmorton Business Park in Edgewood, MD. He had been working there as a machine operator for about 4 months according to the owner. He fled the scene in a black 2008 GMC Acadia with the Delaware license tag PC 64273. At around 11 a.m., Prince is believed to have shot another victim at 28th Street Auto Sales and Service on the 2800 block of Northeast Boulevard in Wilmington, DE. No word on a possible motive. Investigators are treating the incident as workplace violence. Prince should be considered armed and dangerous.

UPDATE: 8:30 p.m. Federal authorities have captured Radee Prince and taken him into custody in Newark, DE.

Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky's appeal for a new trial has been denied. Centre County Judge John Foradora released his decision today. 73-year-old Sandusky has maintained that he was wrongly convicted. He is currently serving a 30-60 year sentence for sexually abusing young boys. Sandusky claimed in his appeal that he did not receive adequate representation at trial. Read the judge's decision here.

A Liberian man who has been living in Delaware County was convicted today in federal court of immigration fraud and perjury for lying on his immigration applications almost 20 years ago. 51-year-old Mohammed Jabbateh, also known as 'Jungle Jabba', was arrested last year. He was living in East Lansdowne and had stayed away from any trouble with the law while here. However, when he first arrived in the United States seeking asylum, Jabbateh failed to disclose his role as a rebel commander in the Liberian civil war. He is accused of a long list of war crimes including genocide. Witnesses brought from Liberia to his trial in the federal courthouse in Philadelphia recounted how either he or the soldiers in his militia tortured and killed civilians, raped women, and engaged in cannibalism. He faces up to 30 years in prison when sentenced.
