A Delaware County man has been accused of raping multiple young boys. District Attorney Jack Whelan announced the arrest of 43-year-old Michael Cripps of Colwyn. He allegedly has abused 5 boys. Whelan says that Cripps befriends women who have young boys and then uses that relationship to get close to the victims. Authorities believe there may be more victims. As a side business, Cripps dresses up as characters, such as Mickey Mouse and Sponge Bob, for children's parties. Anyone with information should contact the Delaware County District Attorney's office.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf signed bills intended to fully fund the state budget including authorizing major borrowing and expanding gambling. The gambling bill will allow for gaming at truck stops and airports, internet gambling, and pave the way for 10 mini-casinos to be built. The state will also borrow $1.5 billion against future tobacco settlements. The annual settlement payout that usually goes to health and research programs will go to the general fund.

Charges have been announced against three former Trump campaign officials following an investigation by Justice Department special counsel Robert Mueller into possible connections between the Trump campaign and Russia. Former aide George Papadopoulos pled guilty to one count of lying to FBI agents about the nature of his contact with foreign nationals. Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former Trump campaign official Rick Gates have been charged with conspiracy against the United States and other felonies. They pled not guilty to a combined 12 counts, including conspiracy to launder money, unregistered agent of a foreign principal, false and misleading FARA statements, false statements, and seven counts of failure to file reports of foreign bank and financial accounts.

The Philadelphia Phillies may have found their new manager. ESPN and mlb.com are reporting that the Phillies will hire 42-year-old Gabe Kapler, currently the director of player development for the Los Angeles Dodgers. The team will make the official announcement sometime this week or after the World Series. Triple-A Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs manager Dusty Wathan and former Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell were two others in the running. Kapler played 12 seasons in the majors for various teams. Kapler would become the franchise's 54th manager.

UPDATE: Kapler has been officially announced as the new manager.
