Texas officials now say the victims of the shooting at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs range in age from 18 months to 77 years. 14 of the 26 fatal victims were children. 10 of the 20 injured remain in critical condition. In a news conference Monday, authorities said that the shooter, 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley, was having domestic problems and sent threatening text messages to his mother-in-law Sunday morning. His in-laws are known to frequent that church but were not inside at the time of the shooting. After leaving the church, Kelley was confronted and shot by a civilian. He got into his vehicle and fled. The armed civilian flagged down a passerby and they chased the shooter. Kelley called his father while being pursued and told him he didn't think he would make it. He eventually lost control and crashed his car. That's when he turned the gun on himself. The civilians held him at gun point until police arrived a short time later. Police believe he died of a self-inflicted gun shot wound, but an autopsy will determine the exact cause. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has ordered flags flown at half mast in honor of the victims.

A woman's body found in Cobbs' Creek Park has been identified as belonging to a missing student. 21-year-old Kierra Johnson was last seen on Thursday. She was reported missing by her family on Friday. The body was discovered by a passerby near 63rd and Spruce Streets around 11 a.m. on Friday. She was facedown in the creek. Police say she died from strangulation. No word on a motive or suspects at this point. Johnson was a student at Hussian School of Art.

Two West Chester University students were hit by a car this morning while waiting for the by bus at a campus stop. It happened around 9 a.m. in the S Lot on South University Drive. The driver fled the scene but was arrested close by on High Street after hitting a parked car. The driver was first taken to the hospital for toxicology screening. They are not a student at the university. The two injured students were taken to the hospital. No word on their conditions.
