A teen was taken to the hospital on Tuesday night after a gunman opened fire on a Chinese restaurant in Southwest Philadelphia. The shooting took place at the Twin Dragon on the 2700 block of Dickinson Street. Police say that the gunman approached the front door of the restaurant, where a struggle ensued with some customers. The customers were trying to keep the suspect out by holding the door when the suspect began to fire. A 17-year-old boy was shot in the head and was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. It is still unknown if the teen was the intended target.

Dozens of protestors took to the streets of Philadelphia on Tuesday to demand safer bike lines in the city. The protestors lined up along 13th Street, south of Pine Street. The protestors stood between the driving and bike lanes to represent where a barrier should go to ensure the safety of cyclists. The demonstration comes about after 24-year-old Emily Fredricks was struck by a trash truck at 11th and Spruce Streets last month. The Bicycle Coalition of Philadelphia stated that this is the 3rd bicyclist killed in the city this year.

Delaware Police are now investigating after a man was shot and killed during a vigil for a murder victim in Wilmington. The shooting took place near the intersection of Vandever Avenue and North Locust Street during a vigil for a friend of the victim. 20-year-old Keanan Samuels was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the head by a shooter that was in an alley nearby the vigil. Police are still continuing to search for the shooter. Anyone with information is asked to contact Wilmington Police.
