6 ABC reports today police arrested three suspects Friday night in the Old City beating murder, and reports say at least two of the three have confessed.

Philadelphia Police held a news conference shortly after midnight announcing the arrests.
The suspects have been identified as 20 year old Steven Ferguson, 19 year old Kenneth Santiago, and 23 year old Felix Carrillo all from Philadelphia.

Homicide detectives and U.S. Marshals made the arrests and all three have been charged with murder.

Action news was there when police towed away a green Camry, believed to be the one driven by the suspects after they attacked 23 year old Kevin Kless in Old City last week.

Police initially thought they were looking for a maroon car, but now sources say the investigation into the beating death of Kless led detectives to the car and the three men who are now in custody and charged with the murder.

Kless, who was a Temple graduate, was trying to hail a cab early Saturday morning with his girlfriend and another friend when a confrontation sparked between him and the suspects.

Police say the men jumped out of their car and severely beat Kless who later died in the hospital.

Earlier in the week, Kless' mother made a plea for information, and a sizeable reward of $20,000 was offered.

Police received several tips which eventually lead to the questioning and arrests of the three suspects. Sources say at least two of the three men have confessed.
