Pennsylvania State Police have stated that two people were killed in a car crash that took place on Route 202 in Chester County on Sunday. The incident happened at around 8 am on Sunday in the southbound lanes near Swedesford and Mill roads in East Whiteland Township. Police say that 62-year-old Melvin Baskerville was going the wrong direction on Route 202 when he crashed head on into 32-year-old Monique Pierre. The collision caused Baskerville's car to crash off into the shoulder while Pierre's car continued forward and flipped over, leaving her trapped inside. Both of the victims were pronounced dead on the scene from their injuries. Route 202 was shut down for around 7 hours, opening back up at 4 pm.

SEPTA announced that the city and suburban transit schedules are getting some changes that went into effect on Sunday. Some of the changes include: The Route 73 bus will run service for shoppers at Wissinoming, Route 58 buses will provide service to the Neshaminy Mall on Sundays and beginning in mid-march, the Route 96 buses will be operating with new routing at the Lansdale station. More information about the schedule change can be found at: http://www.septa.org/schedules/upcoming-transit.html

A tour bus traveling from Washington to New York City caught fire on I-495 on Sunday. The incident happened at around 4 pm along the northbound lanes of I-495, near the ramp for Northbound I-95. Around three dozen passengers from Shanghai, China were inside of the bus at the time of the fire. Officials say that a driver next to the bus alerted the driver of the bus that the rear engine compartment was on fire. The driver then pulled over to assess the situation. The passengers on the bus were taken to the Pennsylvania Welcome Center in Boothwyn. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident. Another bus showed up later to take the passengers to their destination.
