Cosby Pretrial Hearing; Officer Wilson Murder Suspects Trial; 1 Injured In Police Involved Shooting

Bill Cosby is set to appear in court on Monday for a pretrial hearing for issues connected to his retrial of sexual assault charges in Montgomery County. Cosby's previous trial ended in a deadlocked jury. Prosecutors say that they brought 13 accusers to testify against Cosby, but the judge only allowed 1 to testify. This time around, the prosecution is bringing 19 accusers to hopefully testify. Cosby's lawyers are asking to be allowed present a witness who claims Cosby's accuser, Andrea Constand, was told she could make money by accusing Cosby of drugging and raping her.

The two suspects accused of killing a Philadelphia Police officer three years ago are set to appear in court on Monday. The two brothers, Carlton Hipps and Ramone Williams, will face their final hearing on Monday for the murder of Officer Robert Willson III back on March 5th, 2015. The shooting happened at a North Philadelphia Gamestop at 21st Street and Lehigh Valley. Wilson was at the store buying a video game for his son. As the suspects began shooting, Wilson shielded and directed gunfire towards him so other people in the store could get out unharmed. A vigil will be held for Wilson at 1 pm on Monday outside of the Gamestop.

One person was injured in a police involved shooting that took place in Abington, Pa on Sunday afternoon. Police stated that an injured victim left the house where an altercation happened, and ran over to a firehouse across the street at around 3 pm. Officers then arrived at the home on the 800 block of Jenkintown Road where they heard noises coming from inside. Upon entering the house they found two more victims as well as the suspect who barricaded himself inside. Officers stated that the suspect refused to comply with their orders and an officer then discharged his weapon, striking the suspect. Police have not released the condition of the suspect, but they have stated no other victims were hurt in the incident. An investigation continues into the incident.
