The City of Philadelphia has declared a Snow Emergency starting at 8 am on Wednesday due to the incoming nor'easter. Philadelphia residents will have to move all cars off of designated snow emergency routes so they can be properly plowed. Officials say that city government offices as well as courts will be closed for the day. SEPTA officials say that their service will operate on a Severe Storm Schedule which is a modified Saturday schedule, more info can be found at: http://septa.org/service/winter/

Philadelphia Police have released a new video that is wanted for a sexual assault that took place in Kensington in 2016. The video shows the suspect; wearing a backpack, walk into a convenience store. Police say that the suspect is wanted for the sexual assault of a 24-year-old woman that happened back on July 12, 2016. The incident happened at around 12:30 am on the 3800 block of Jasper Street. The male suspect approached the victim; he then grabbed her and choked her until she was unconscious. When she woke up, she was naked and left in the back of a property on Jasper Street. The victim suffered head and facial injuries. Police are hoping the suspect can be identified from the video.

A 3-year-old is now in critical condition after being struck by a car during a hit-and-run in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. The incident happened at around 6:30 pm Tuesday at Tyson and Roland Streets. Police say that the child was walking with her mother and sibling, when the driver of a Toyota lost control of the car and jumped the curb where the victims were walking. Police say that after striking the victims, the car stopped on a lawn and the driver fled the scene on foot. The girl was trapped under the car, but six civilians were able to free her. The girl and her mother were transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital; the second sibling was not injured. Police reported that drug paraphernalia was found in the car. An investigation continues.
