SEPTA's Airport Line was temporarily shut down on Monday after a train in Southwest Philadelphia struck a pedestrian. The incident happened at around 10 am on Monday near 58th Street and Woodland Avenue. Officials say that the pedestrian survived the incident, but was rushed to the hospital. SEPTA had to shut down the Airport Line in both directions as police investigated the incident.

Four people have been hospitalized after a crash occurred on Roosevelt Boulevard in the early morning hours of Monday. The crash happened at around 3:20 am on Monday in the northbound lanes of Allengrove Street. Police arrived on the scene to find a car that crashed into a tree. Four people were inside of the vehicle, the 19-year-old male driver, a 25-year-old man, and two 21-year-old men. All four were taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center. There is no immediate word on their condition and police are investigating on what caused the driver to crash the vehicle.

Police in Delaware have taken a man into custody after an explosion occurred outside of a home on Monday morning. 48-year-old Mark J. Consiglio has been taken into custody and charged with 3 counts of manufacturing, possession and use of an explosive device. Consiglio reportedly set off an explosive device outside of the home where his estranged wife was living on the 1300 block of Cypress Avenue in Elsmere, DE. The explosion created a small hole in the window of the home. The Bomb Squad arrived later to search through the yard for additional explosives using a robot. Police later searched Consiglio's house where they found three additional explosives as well as a firearm and a sword. Cosiglio is to be arraigned on Tuesday night and additional charges are to be added on.
