New Jersey State police are searching for a suspect who stole a vehicle from a Wawa in Salem County. It happened on Saturday night, March 31st, just before midnight. The suspect stole a Ford Fairmont from the parking lot of the store in Pilesgrove Township. The car was later recovered abandoned in Newark, Delaware. Police say that a cell phone was taken from the vehicle. The suspect was caught on surveillance video leaving the Wawa. She is described as a white female, slender build, between the ages of 40 and 50. She was seen carrying a tan purse and using a large cell phone with a large black logo or sticker on the back. If you have any information you should contact New Jersey State Police Woodstown Station at 856-769-0775. Tips can remain anonymous.

It may be Easter Sunday and mild, sunny April 1st, but forecasters are not kidding when they say to expect snow tomorrow morning in the Philadelphia area. A Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect from Midnight tonight to 1 p.m. Monday. Rain or wintry mix to start will turn to all snow by the morning. It will finish by midday. Expect 1-2 inches around the city with more north and west (see map below). Afternoon high temperatures in the 40s will start to melt any accumulations. Snow in April is not impossible or particularly uncommon. It's even got a name in Pennsylvania, "onion snow," because it occurs after the traditional time for planting onions. This should be winter's last hurrah.

The Villanova Wildcats Men's Basketball team is headed back to the NCAA National Championship for the second time in three years. Last night, no. 1 seeded Villanova defeated no. 1 seeded Kansas Jayhawks 95-79 in the Final Four in record setting fashion. The Wildcats set the record for most three-pointers in a Final Four game (18), most three-pointers made in the NCAA Tournament (66) and the most three-pointers made in a single season (454). Seven different players made a three-point shot. Six players scored in double digits. It is difficult to keep up with such a balanced and relentless attack. Villanova has mastered the extra pass, the extra look for a better shot. They will face the no. 3 seeded Michigan Wolverines who defeated the no. 11 seed Loyola-Chicago Ramblers 69-57 in the other semi-final game. Michigan is prided on their stingy defense. They will need to do everything in their power to lock down Villanova tomorrow night. Tipoff is scheduled for 9:20 pm Monday on TBS.
