A fight outside a 7-Eleven store in Northeast Philadelphia early Saturday morning ended in gunfire. It started around 3 a.m. in the parking lot of the convenience store on the 6900 block of Torresdale Ave. at Disston Street in the Tacony section. A 49-year-old man and a man in his 30s got into a fight. Shots were fired. The older man was shot in the shoulder and foot. The younger man suffered a graze wound to the head. They were both hospitalized in stable condition. Police are investigating what prompted the shooting. No charges have been filed at this time.

A delivery van crashed into a crowd of people on Saturday in the German city of Muenster, killing 3 and injuring 20. The driver then shot and killed himself. Authorities are treating this as a deliberate act. It happened around 3:30 p.m. local time in the old part of the city in western Germany. The driver drove onto an open terrace outside the popular Grosser Kiepenkerl bar/restaurant. It was a nice day, 77 degrees Fahrenheit, and many people were outside in the city center for the Saturday market. Six of the twenty are injured seriously. Officials have been searching the driver's apartment and trying to determine a motive for the attack. His identity has not been released.

14 people were killed and 14 other injured when a bus carrying a Canadian junior hockey team collided with a tractor-trailer in western Canada on Friday. It happened on Friday afternoon on Highway 35 in Saskatchewan province. The Humboldt Broncos were headed to the town of Nipawin for a Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League semifinals playoff game. Nipawin lead 3-1 in the series. There were 28 people on the bus. Authorities did not specify whether players or coaches have died or have been injured yet. Humboldt, Saskatchewan, is a town with a population of 6,000. Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League is for players between 16-20 years of age.

UPDATE: Death toll has now risen to 15 in bus crash.
