The body of a Philadelphia woman who was missing since late December 2017 was found on Friday afternoon, 4/20, in the Poconos. 24-year-old Nicole Murray's body was discovered at the rear of a property on the 500 block of Foliage Drive in Blakesee, Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County. There is an abandoned mobile home on the lot. Murray was last seen on December 26, 2017 in Kensington. She told friends she had gone to the Poconos. She was last heard from on January 3rd, 2018. Pennsylvania State Police and the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department are investigating the death. An autopsy will be performed on Monday, April 23.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a deadly shooting at a house party in North Philadelphia near the campus of Temple University. It happened just after midnight Saturday, 4/21, near the intersection of 19th and W Diamond Street. The gunman opened fire into a crowd, killing 2 and injuring 1. Police arrived to find a 21-year-old woman in the road, shot in the back. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. A 21-year-old man, shot in the head, died 9 hours later at the hospital on Saturday morning. A third victim, a 21-year-old man who was shot in the leg remains at the hospital in stable condition. None of the victims were Temple students. Philadelphia Homicide Detectives are investigating.

Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms have recovered hundreds of pounds of explosives and blasting caps stolen from a worksite in Lancaster County last week. ATF found 320 sticks of dynamite and more than 400 detonators. Acting on a tip, agents discovered them in a creek under a bridge in East Donegal Township about a mile from the Sunoco pipeline worksite where they were stolen. Authorities say that is only half of what they thought was stolen. They need to double check records to make sure.
