Philadelphia Police say that a Temple University student who was shot multiple times and killed in his off campus apartment on Saturday night, 5/5, called 911 before he died. Police found 21-year-old Daniel Duignam shot to death in his apartment on the 1700 block of Diamond Street just before 10 p.m. He told the 911 operator that he couldn't breathe. He was shot in the stomach, arm, and cheek. Police say that they believe Duignam knew the killer. There were no signs of forced entry, but the place was ransacked and there were signs of a struggle. The killer took money and locked the door. Police do not have any suspects. Duignam was a third year student at Temple’s Fox School of Business. He is from Tatamy, PA and went to Nazareth Area High School north of Philadelphia.

A Pennsylvania judge ruled there is enough evidence to support hazing and alcohol-related charges against 11 more members of a Penn State fraternity after the death of a pledge last year. Judge Steven Lachman dismissed charges against one fraternity member related to the deletion of security footage from the Beta Theta Pi house. He also dropped all reckless endangerment charges. Fourteen other members are already awaiting trial. 19-year-old Tim Piazza died after suffering numerous falls after a night of forced drinking in February 2017. "The Office of Attorney General is committed to seeking justice for Timothy Piazza and his family and holding responsible individuals accountable for their actions, consistent with the law and the evidence in this case," said Attorney General Josh Shapiro. "We are in the process of reviewing the judge's decision to determine next steps, and are pleased that 11 more defendants we charged will be headed to trial."

Upper Darby police are reopening the case of a missing Delaware County woman, now believed to be the victim of foul play. Then 25-year-old Amanda De Guio walked out of her mother's Drexel Hill home in June 2014 and left behind all her belongings and two young children. There has been no contact since and no activity on her credit cards. At a press conference on Monday, 5/7, her family pleaded for help in finding De Guio. "I've assigned two detectives to work around the clock to do what they initially did, the missing person investigation, now they're going to do a foul play investigation," said Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood. Her family says that she had a drug problem after becoming addicted to pain killers. De Guio is described as about 5-foot-3 and 120 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She has several tattoos including a map of Italy on her side. There is a $5,000 reward for any information that would lead to finding De Guio, and to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Anyone with information Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers Toll Free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS or contact Upper Darby Police Department at 610-734-7693. See photos below.
