Haverford Township Police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman after meeting on a social media app. It happened on April 22 at the victim's house in Ardmore. The suspect and victim met on the social media app 'Whisper' which allows users to post anonymously. He is described as a white male in his early 20s, with buzz-cut blonde or reddish hair and a stubble beard. He was 5'7" tall with a stocky build and blue eyes. He was wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt, black shorts, brown Timberland style boots and had a gold chain around his neck. The victim said he smelled like cigarettes and said his name was "Joe." Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Mark Johnson at mjohnson@havpd.org or call 610-853-1298 ex. 1234.

Hard Rock was granted a casino license today, 5/9, by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission for their renovated Atlantic City project set to open next month. They have gutted and rebuilt the former Trump Taj Mahal. It will reopen on June 28th. It's not just about the gaming. Hard Rock plans to have 300 nights of entertainment the first year including live music, comedy and drama. The opening weekend will feature shows from Carrie Underwood and Pitbull. The former Revel will also reopen that weekend as Ocean Resort Casino. Together, the two new casinos are bringing back 6,500 jobs to Atlantic City.

Video from a fight last week at Council Rock North High School has made its way onto social media. It happened inside the locker room between members of the freshman class. No one was seriously injured, but it did become violent at times. It started over accusations of something being stolen. Both school officials and Newtown Township Police are reviewing the footage and investigating the incident to determine what discipline is warranted and if any charges will be filed.
