Saturday marked the 3rd day of the Firefly Music Festival here at the Woodlands of Dover. The day had perfect weather and even better music. It was a little hotter than Friday, but that didn't stop the festivalgoers from enjoying the music. The day got started with Ohio based all-female band The Aces on the Lawn stage. The girls got the day off to a great start and woke up some of the tired festivalgoers and campers. Over on the Coffee House stage was Philly artist Ben O'Neil. Ben has performed at countless local Philly venues as well as the 2016 Haverford Music Festival. He and a fellow band member performed a duo performance, and the crowd seemed very pleased with the performance.

Kicking off the Main stage on Saturday was alternative/indie band Middle Kids. The band put on a heartfelt set that set the mood for more great music to come. Over on the Lawn Stage was up and coming singer/songwriter Lauv, who featured a mix of pop blended with electronic. Lauv had the crowd on their feet, especially when he performed "A Different Way" which was produced by DJ Snake. Back over on the Coffee House stage was another Philly based band, Foxtrot & The Get Down, who put on a great performance. Back over on the Lawn stage was UK singer Rag 'n' Bone Man. His blend of soulful sounds and pop/rock rhythms kept the good times rolling at the festival. Rag 'n' Bone Man also featured his hit song "Human" off of his 2017 album of the same name.

Coming up on the Main stage was veteran rapper Lil Wayne. Wayne still knows how to put on a great show for his fans, and has a wonderful personality on stage. He featured many of his classic hits including "Lollipop" off his 2008 album "Tha Carter III" and "6 Foot 7 Foot" off of his 2011 album "Lil Wayne". Moving over to the Lawn Stage was Australian musician Vance Joy. Joy lit up the crowd with his melodic tunes and melodies that kept the festivalgoers moving along with his music. He featured plenty of his hit songs including "Saturday Sun" and "Lay it on Me" which were both featured on his 2018 album "Nation of Two." Joy also featured his hit single "Riptide" which was featured on his debut album "Dream Your Life Away." Over on the Backyard stage was another Philly artist performing, rapper PNB Rock. Keeping the crowd on their feet was not difficult task for PNB, his hard hitting beats and flow was just what the festival needed.

As the night went on and the sun went down, it only meant one thing for the festivalgoers…it was time for The Killers. The alternative rock band out of Las Vegas put on a hell of a show. Opening the set with their hit "The Man" off their 2017 album "Wonderful Wonderful." The guys kept the crowd moving and singing along with each song. Halfway into the set, The Killers invited a fan to come on stage and play the drums to one of their songs, the lucky fan happened to be from West Chester PA. The fan did not let down the crowd and played the song in perfect fashion, which seemed to impress The Killers' drummer. The band rocked the crowd with their music which also included a spectacular light show. The group finished the set with "All These Things That I've Done" as well as the fan favorite "Mr. Brightside." Both off of their debut album "Hot Fuss."

Headlining the Lawn stage was Portland based alternative/indie band Portugal the Man. The band featured their hit "Live in the Moment" as well as "Feel it Still" off their 2017 album "Woodstock." Over on the Backyard stage featured a DJ Set from Beastie Boy Mike D.

Headlining the Main Stage Saturday was veteran rapper Eminem. Em put on an amazing show full of his old and new music. His friend/hype man Mr. Porter joined him on stage throughout the show. Eminem also had a few surprise guests grace the stage during his performance, one of them being the talented Skylar Grey who came out and sang the hooks for 3 of his songs, one being his new hit "Walk on Water" from his 2017 album "Revival." He also brought out fellow Detroit rapper Royce Da 5'9 who performed a song with him. Even though Eminem has been around for two decades he still knows how to put on a show for his fans. There was not one person in the entire crowd who was not jumping or singing along to his music. Eminem ended the show with his hit "Lose Yourself" from his hit movie 8 Mile.

Closing out the night was EDM DJ Martin Garrix, who kept the crowd partying into the early morning hours of Sunday. It was a great third day here in Dover, and with Sunday's lineup it will be a fantastic way to close out the festival.
