New Jersey State Police are searching for a prisoner that escaped in Cumberland County. 34-year-old David Riley, of Bridgeton, escaped from the custody of Cumberland County Department of Corrections officers at Cumberland County Jail around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, 8/10. Police say that he fled on foot without handcuffs in the area of Cornwell Drive and Old Deerfield Pike in Upper Deerfield Township. He should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a white male, 5'9", 190 pounds, with short brown hair, a short beard, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and boxer shorts. If you have any information contact the New Jersey State Police Bridgeton Station at 856-451-0101.

A youth football coach in South Jersey was shot and killed inside his car after practice on Thursday, 8/9. It happened around 8:15 p.m. near the Lakeside Middle School at 2 Sharp Street in Millville. 37-year-old Joseph L. Jones was sitting in his car as the Millville youth football league was wrapping up practice when the gunman opened fire on his car. There were over a hundred players and parents in and around the parking lot at the time. Jones is known as a volunteer who helps out with various Millville youth sport leagues. He was there watching his son practice. Police are still searching for the suspect. Anyone with any information is asked to call police at 609-381-2046.

Police in Bensalem are searching for one suspect and have another suspect in custody after a gun was pulled on a state trooper during a traffic stop on Friday afternoon. It happened at the Wawa on the 3600 block of Street Road around 1:30 p.m. The Pennsylvania State Trooper pulled over a suspicious vehicle. While he was patting down the passenger of the car, he took off running. The trooper pulled out his Taser and gave chase. The passenger then pulled out a gun and pointed it at the trooper. The trooper pulled out his gun, but no shots were exchanged. The suspect disappeared into the neighborhood. When reinforcements arrived they found him in a backyard around 3 p.m. 23-year-old Anthony H. Bupp of Philadelphia was taken into custody. The driver of the car is still on the loose. He drove off in a dark gray Dodge Charger with a red or maroon trunk with temporary Florida tags T20 7777. If you have any information call State Police.
