Philadelphia Police are investigating after video was posted to Twitter showing a gut wrenching hit-and-run in the Wells Fargo Center parking lot following Friday night's (11/16) 76er's game. It happened as fans were streaming out of the arena and cars were moving towards towards the exits. A dark grey Chevy Tahoe with New Jersey plates seems to suddenly speed up and veer into a pedestrian that was standing between car lanes. The man was knocked so hard his shoe went flying off. The SUV fled the scene, despite being chased down by bystanders. The man suffered some cuts and bruises but is expected to be OK. A police report has been filed and the investigation is ongoing.

Philadelphia Police are warning residents about a potential sexual predator seen lurking around schools. The 30-year-old man had been arrested and was released on bail. He was seen near schools in Northeast Philadelphia and Bensalem Township in Bucks County during opening and dismissal hours. He drives a dark blue 2008 Hyundai Elantra. If you observe him on school property or engaging in inappropriate behavior call 911.

A mother in Bethlehem Township is facing charges after she drove with her son on the hood of her car after he refused to go to the dentist. 36-year-old Shaurice Jones has been charged with child endangerment and reckless endangerment. On November 14, Jones took her 12-year-old son to the dentist. However, the boy refused to walk into the office and instead sat on the hood of the car. Police say that Jones then drove, with her son still on the hood, from the dentist office to the police station about 2 miles away. That stretch of road has a speed limit of 40 mph. She has been released on $1,000 bail.
