A shirtless man was buzzed into a Delaware County grade school carrying a hand gun and a bag of drugs. Darby Borough Police Chief Robert Smythe says that 21-year-old Nazher Sabree was let into Park Lane School in Darby Borough around 9 a.m. on Friday, 1/4. He said he was looking for a misplaced bag. Principal Dawn Watson-Bouie escorted him back out of the building. Police were not notified of the incident for three hours and the principal chose not to hit the school's panic button. When police did arrest Sabree he tried to pull a .40 caliber handgun and was carrying narcotics. "Why would you let the guy in when he was acting strangely to begin with? I mean, who is standing around outside shirtless at 9 a.m. picking up bags?" said Chief Smythe. "Who was thinking with their brains here? Obviously nobody. I'll be honest with you, I think they're brainless," said Smythe. The school district released a statement which said in part, "It was questioned as to why Dr. Watson-Bouie did not push the panic button which alerts all local police agencies that there is an armed intruder in the building... It was not utilized as Dr. Watson Bouie had no evidence that there was an armed intruder."

UPDATE:Sabree appeared in court on Saturday morning. Bail has been set at $500,000.

A grandmother and her two grandchildren were killed in a house fire in Hunting Park on Saturday afternoon, 1/5. It happened around 1:15 p.m. on the 4200 block of North Reese Street. The fire was brought under control at 2:23 p.m. The grandmother was babysitting the two young children who had been dropped off at the row home by their mother. Firefighters had to break down the locked front door. Heavy fire made it hard to navigate inside and the home was full of furniture and clothing. Fire officials say that there were no working fire alarms inside the house.

The body of a toddler found in an alley cut through in Camden, New Jersey, has now been identified as 1-year-old Jah'vi Brown. Brown was found by a passerby on October 11 near the 800 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue. A known DNA sample of the missing boy was compared to the remains to make the identification. Investigators determined that no one has seen Jah'vi since August 20. Neither of his parent's reported him missing. On December 6th, his father, 25-year-old Anthony Burnett of Camden, went to the Bellmawr Police Department "regarding a custody issue" of his son with the mother, 23-year-old Tynaizha Brown of Bellmawr. It is still not known what happened between August 20 and October 11. If you have any information please contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office at 856-225-5166, Camden County Metro at 609-706-6590 or Bellmawr police at 609-471-1079.
