Controversial Model Display Not Easter But Hefner Tribute; Bucks Murders TV Special; School Bed Bugs

A man in Clifton, NJ, says the controversial display on his lawn featuring scantily clad mannequins with bunny ears holding baskets with large eggs is not an Easter display, but rather a tribute to the late Hugh Hefner. Dr. Wayne Gangi set up the five models wearing lingerie and fishnets on the lawn of his dentist offices on Grove Street to celebrate what would have been the Playboy mogul's 93rd birthday (April 9th). Residents of Clifton have had mixed reactions. Some say they enjoy it, others find it disgusting. One resident, Desiree Mozek, took it upon herself to disassemble the entire display. Gangi plans to put it back up and is in the process of getting a restraining order against Mozek.

The Investigation Discovery channel (ID) announced on Wednesday, 4/10, that they will be airing a true crime special titled "The Lost Boys of Bucks County" in early 2020. The two-hour program will cover the gruesome quadruple murders of four Bucks County young men on a family farm in July 2017. Dean Finocchiaro, Mark Sturgis, Tom Meo, and Jimi Taro Patrick were each lured by Cosmo DiNardo to the farm for drug deals. They were then ambushed, killed, and buried. DiNardo has pled guilty. His cousin, Sean Kratz, is accused of assisting in the crimes. He still awaits trial.

In a gripping limited true-crime special produced by Story House Productions, The Lost Boys of Bucks County unravels the shocking serial murders that set ablaze a small community and rocked it to its core. Over the course of two days in July 2017, four young men go missing in an idyllic, sleepy suburb of Philadelphia. Blue blood born-and-bred Megan Freer is new to the force, but what she lacks in experience she makes up for in instinct and not only a connection to the area, but also to the families of some of the lost boys that further fuels her passion for justice. In the face of great evil, Freer is thrust into a dark and twisted path, forced to follow her intuition to put together the pieces hiding in plain sight that bring a brutal serial killer to justice.

A Southwest Philadelphia school was closed on Thursday after bed bugs were found in the two buildings. Southwest Leadership Academy Charter School, located on the 7100 block of Paschall Avenue, sent a letter home to parents saying that the pests were found in classrooms. The buildings were treated for the bugs and must be empty for 24 hours. The letter encourages parents to check their children for bugs and bites.
