The man wearing an Easter Bunny costume who was caught on video breaking up a fight on the street in Orlando, FL, actually has a lengthy criminal record and is wanted in New Jersey. The video was posted to Instagram on Easter Sunday and shows one man attacking a woman on the sidewalk and the women fending him off. 20-year-old Antoine McDonald, wearing the bunny suit, tries to intervene and get the man off of the woman. He throws a few punches himself until police arrive. No one was arrested for the incident. However, the video went viral and caught the eyes of local police. In September of 2018, he was caught on surveillance burglarizing cars in South Brunswick, NJ. There is a warrant for his arrest after he failed to appear in court and fled. In 2017 in Dover, DE, he was arrested for two armed robberies. McDonald said he stepped in to stop the fight after he saw the man spit on the woman, but he's been arrested for harassment and for allegedly spitting at a worker at a store. He also said he is not a violent person. The New Jersey warrant is non-extraditable.

A father and his 12-year-old son are recovering after being shot in their home during a burglary Monday night, 4/22. It happened around 9:45 p.m. on the 5200 block of Marlow Street in Frankford. The family, including the man's wife and 11-year-old daughter, had just returned home from shopping at Home Depot. When the father entered the home he encountered two men who had broken in. They opened fire and shot 10 times. The father was hit in the arms and torso and was in critical condition. The boy had a graze wound to the chest and was treated and released. They were both taken to Temple University Hospital. The father has a permit to carry and had his gun in his possession, but it is not clear if he got off a shot. The suspects are described as black males in their late 20s and driving a gold minivan. Police believe the family wasn't targeted specifically and this could be connected to other burglaries in the neighborhood.

The Radnor School Board voted on Tuesday, 4/23, to start classes at Radnor High School one hour later starting next year. The board voted 7-2 to have classes start at 8:30 a.m. Ken Batchelor, the school district superintendent says, "The science, what we've learned about the major medical associations have shared with us about adolescent sleep and what time is the proper time to start high school we found that to be very convincing." The American Academy of Pediatrics, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Medical Association recommend that adolescents get 8-10 hours of sleep each night and the high school day should begin at 8:30 a.m. or later.
