A restaurant in Manayunk is being accused of dumping an unknown liquid down a storm drain. A neighbor posted video and photos on Facebook showing workers from Hot Pot Gourmet on Main Street pouring an orange liquid into the sewer. The restaurant has only been open for about 2 weeks. Garbage is also piled up behind the building in an alleyway. The owner said that they had a clogged pipe and it was only mop and dishwater. The City of Philadelphia is now investigating. The Water Department has taken samples to determine what was dumped.

UPDATE: The restaurant has voluntarily closed until it is approved to resume operations by the Health Department. You can read the Full Facility Inspection Report

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal announced the arrests of 16 men who attempted to meet up with children they met online, only to be met by undercover officers in a sting. The multi-agency undercover operation called "Operation Home Alone" took place on April 11-15 at a home in Bergen County. Each of the men had made contact with someone on social media who they believed was an underage boy or girl when in fact it was an undercover officer. They were arrested when they showed up at the house expecting to find their victim alone. The men range in age from 26 to 55 and are from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. They have a variety of professions including high school teacher, office manager, barbershop owner, and ride share drivers. 37-year-old Roger Arroyo from Philadelphia is a traveling minister. 28-year-old Peter Tuchol Jr. is an officer with the Ridgewood Police Department. They are charged with attempted sex assault on a minor and luring, and other offenses. See photos below.

"The 16 men we arrested allegedly used social media to stalk victims they believed were vulnerable children who could be sexually exploited. Fortunately, their victims were really undercover officers prepared to put them in handcuffs," said New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal. "Parents need to know that the profiles of underage girls and boys we posted on social media to catch these offenders could easily have been profiles of their own children, who might also be targeted by predators on chat apps and popular gaming sites. Our message to parents with Operation Home Alone is be on guard. Our message to child predators is law enforcement is working overtime to find you and arrest you."

An 8-year-old girl was burned after falling into a fire pit at a home in Camden County on Tuesday night, 4/23. It happened around 8 p.m. on the unit block of Camelot Court in Gloucester Township. The girl suffered burns to her back and hand. She was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
