Philadelphia Police are looking for three suspects who are wanted for robbing an older couple at gunpoint and attempting to carjack their vehicle as the victims were packing for a trip in Center City early Thursday morning. It happened around 4:30 a.m. on the 300 block of South Camac Street in Washington Square West. A 72-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman were outside loading their car when the men approached them. At least one was armed. The couple was forced back into their home and the thieves took their phones, wallets, and money. The suspects then went back outside and jumped into the couple's running car and drove off. They only made it to the end of the block before the car stalled and shut off because the key fob was back with the owner. The suspects then fled. Police recovered a weapon in the car, but it was not a real handgun.

The National Weather Service confirmed that an EF-1 tornado touched down in Tinicum Township, Bucks County on Sunday night, 5/19. It happened at 9:51 p.m. over the Beaver Valley Campgrounds. The twister was on the ground for about one minute and travelled one quarter of a mile with a maximum width of about 100 yards. It uprooted dozens of trees and significantly damaged three camping trailers. Another tornado touched down the same night in West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County. An EF-1 tornado tore through Kline Road in the town of Denver. It tore off roofs and uprooted trees late Sunday into Monday. No one was injured.

A man was killed and a woman was injured in a double shooting in North Philadelphia on Thursday night, 5/23. It happened around 9:20 p.m. at 16th and Diamond Streets near the Temple campus. Both victims were rushed to Temple University Hospital. The man died shortly after arrival. The 35-year-old female victim was shot twice in the abdomen and is in critical condition. No arrests have been made. Anyone with any information should call police at 215-686-TIPS.
