Two Teens Shot At SEPTA's City Hall Station; Body Found along Kelly Drive; Rehobeth Stabbing Arrest

Two teens were shot and injured while riding the Broad Street Line on Wednesday night, 6/5. It happened around 9:45 p.m. inside a train on the northbound side at SEPTA's City Hall station. A man opened fire inside the train. A 16-year-old and an 18-year-old were shot. They were taken to Hahnemann University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. They are both expected to be ok. A suspect was taken into custody and a gun has been recovered. Police are sorting out what led up to the gunfire.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after the body of a woman was found along Kelly Drive on Wednesday afternoon, 6/5. It happened around 1:40 p.m. near Kelly Drive and Brewery Hill Drive. The body was discovered near the river by a passerby. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No word on the woman's identity or cause of death.

Rehobeth Beach police have arrested a man in connection to a stabbing on the boardwalk over the weekend. The incident happened on Saturday night, 6/1, around 10 p.m. after a fight broke out on the boardwalk near Wilmington Avenue. Police say that 23-year-old Marques J. Gantt stabbed an 18-year-old man with a pocket knife. Gantt is charged with first-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, one count of carrying a concealed deadly weapon, and one count of misdemeanor terroristic threatening. The victim is recovering.
