A Good Samaritan caught a glimpse of a woman getting attacked off of a New Jersey highway last week. He got out of his vehicle and was able to stop the assault and save the woman. It happened around 3 p.m. on Thursday, 6/6, on the I-295 northbound exit ramp to highway 73 in Mount Laurel. 54-year-old John Bishop of Burlington Township was traveling northbound on I-295 and began to exit at Rt. 73. "I got off of 295, onto Route 73," Bishop said. "I don't normally go that way. I saw out the corner of my eye, I saw a woman walking and somebody grab her and yank her forcefully slam her into the ground into the bushes and drag her down the hill. Like grab her backwards. It didn't even look real to me," Bishop said. "To see how fast she was sucked into the path and into the bushes. The big man put me there for a reason." Bishop parked his truck and ran to help. He found 52-year-old Donald Cramer Jr. on top of the woman. Bishop yelled at Cramer to stop. The two men then got into a fight. Eventually Bishop got the upper hand and dragged Cramer back out into the open. Three members of the Palmyra Fire Department had stopped and helped hold Cramer until police arrived. He is charged with kidnapping, criminal attempted sexual assault, aggravated assault, robbery, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, terrorist threats, criminal restraint and resisting arrest. The woman suffered non life-threatening injuries and was treated at the hospital. Police believe Cramer may be involved in more sexual assaults. Contact 609-298-1171 if you have any more information.

Lower Merion police are searching for a woman wanted for stealing purses in Villanova last month. The suspect smashed the passenger windows of two vehicles along the 1800 block of County Line Road near Villanova University's West Campus. Investigators have surveillance photos of the suspect taken when she tried to cash checks found in one of the purses. See the photo below. If you have any information contact Lower Merion police at 610-649-1000.

A Marlton, NJ, man has been arrested and charged with having sex with underage girl at his home after meeting on a messaging app. Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said in a statement that 49-year-old Charles Torrence was charged with second-degree sexual assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. Torrence and the teenage girl met in May using Kik, an anonymous messaging app. They interacted via text and FaceTime for about a week before he picked her up in Stafford Township, Ocean County and brought her to his Evesham Township home. That is where is sexually assaulted her. The investigation started after the girl told her parents what happened. Torrence was arrested by Stafford Township Police on Saturday, 6/8, following a traffic stop in the victim's housing development.
