A black bear that has been seen in areas of Bucks and Montgomery Counties was spotted in the East Falls section of Philadelphia on Wednesday morning, 6/12. The approximately 100-pound bear was roaming on train tracks just west of the East Falls SEPTA station at around 11:20 a.m. Train service has not been affected. The Game Warden says it is probably a juvenile bear looking for new territory. It is not confirmed but it is probably the same animal that was seen in Warrington on Saturday, Oreland on Monday, and Wyndmoor on Tuesday. If you see the bear, contact police.

UPDATE: The bear was spotted again on Thursday, 6/13, near a dumpster in Roxborough at the Henry on the Park apartment complex on the 7900 block of Henry Avenue.

UPDATE: The bear has been caught and tranquilized by state game wardens, Thursday, 6/13. It was found in a wooded area in Andorra near the Cathedral Village senior living community. The bear will be taken to the Hawk Mountain area to be released.

A woman is in custody after another woman was stabbed to death during a fight in Germantown on Tuesday night, 6/11. It happened around 9:30 p.m. on the 5300 block of Lena Street. An argument between two groups of women escalated to a fight. 27-year-old Teniesha Iseley of Frankford was stabbed twice in the chest. She was taken to Einstein Medical Center but died shortly after 10 p.m. Witnesses described the suspect as a young woman with red braids wearing pink shorts. 14th district officers found a woman matching that description three blocks away. 26-year-old Brittany Holmes was taken into custody after being positively identified. Police are still determining a motive.

A Chester County man who was accused of peeping inside Target dressing rooms now faces child pornography charges. 41-year-old Sean Anderson of Elverson was arrested at the Target in the Upland Square shopping center on Route 100 in West Pottsgrove in May. He had used a small drill bit to create holes in the changing room walls so that he could spy on females changing. Anderson was originally charged with criminal mischief and possessing an instrument of crime. Authorities obtained a search warrant for his phone and found 56 images taken of females in the changing room in various stages of undress. 12 of them were of topless women, one was completely naked and six were underage girls either partially or totally undressed. He is now charged with three felony counts of child pornography, 56 counts of invasion of privacy, and three counts of creating child pornography.
