Pennsylvania State Police say that an Adams County teen who had been sought as a missing runaway on Monday morning, 8/5, is now wanted for attempted criminal homicide. On Monday morning, PSP Gettysburg posted a missing teen alert for 16-year-old Octavian Perez. He was last seen in Bonneauville Borough, Adams County on Sunday. Late Monday, state police issued an update saying they now have an arrest warrant for Perez on attempted criminal homicide charges. "During the investigation, it was determined that he caused severe bodily harm to a juvenile victim," police said in a statement. If you have any information contact PSP Gettysburg at 717-334-8111.

A man convicted in the strangulation murder of a Main Line woman was sentenced to life in prison on Tuesday, 8/6. 31-year-old Jonathan Harris was found guilty of the brutal murder in May. He expressed "deepest condolences." A Montgomery County judge added an additional 22 to 45 years to send a message to any future governors or pardon boards who might consider freeing Harris. Harris killed 36-year-old Christina Carlin-Kraft inside her Ardmore apartment last August after meeting in Philadelphia earlier that night. Carlin-Kraft had a career as a model with several national publications in her portfolio.

A recent Haverford College graduate has pled guilty to attempting to access to the president's tax returns just before the November 2016 elections. 22-year-old Justin Hiemstra of St. Paul Park, Minnesota, faces a maximum 2-year sentence and $200,000 fine for trying to illegally obtain President Donald Trump's returns. The attempted cyber prank happened inside Haverford's computer center with another student who has yet to enter a plea. Hiemstra created a fake Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) using the name of a Trump family member. Then tried to use a social security number for the President he found online. The application failed several times (alerting authorities). "No matter what you think about the president's tax returns, clearly this kind of illegal activity cannot be tolerated or condoned. Unauthorized or false attempts to obtain any citizen's IRS filings are a serious violation of privacy rights and a federal crime, and there's nothing funny about it," said U.S. Attorney William McSwain.
